Review Certificate Template Details and Linked Courses in the Admin Platform

Learn how to open a certificate template detail page, review the certificate preview, check linked courses, switch to the Instructor Platform for course-level changes, and use edit or delete actions.

This guide explains how to use a certificate template detail page in the Admin Platform.

Use it when you want to:

  • preview one certificate template more closely
  • check which courses are currently linked to that template
  • search or filter the linked course list
  • open the template for editing
  • delete a template you no longer need

Open A Certificate Template Detail Page

To open a certificate template detail page:

  1. Go to Management > Certificates.
  2. Select the certificate template you want to review.

OpenMirai then opens a detail page for that template.

Understand The Header Area

At the top of the page, OpenMirai can show:

  • a back button to return to the certificate library
  • the certificate template name
  • category badges
  • the template creation date
  • the number of linked courses
  • an action menu

Use this header when you want quick context before editing the template or reviewing where it is used.

Use The Action Menu

The action menu in the header includes:

  • Edit
  • Delete

Use Edit when you want to update the certificate template in the editor.

Use Delete only when the template should be removed permanently. OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before deletion.

Use The File Tab

The File tab shows the certificate preview image.

Use this tab when you want to:

  • confirm that you opened the correct template
  • review the certificate design without opening the editor
  • check the overall layout before making changes

This is the quickest way to inspect the template visually.

Use The Courses Tab

The Courses tab shows the courses currently linked to the certificate template.

Use this tab when you want to understand where the template is already being used across your course catalog.

This tab includes:

  • a course type selector
  • a search field
  • a list of linked course cards

Filter Linked Courses By Type

Use the course type selector to narrow the list to a specific type of course.

This is helpful when the same certificate template is used across different kinds of learning content and you only want to review one group at a time.

Search Linked Courses

Use the search field to find a linked course by name.

This is useful when:

  • many courses use the same template
  • you already know which course you want to inspect
  • you want to confirm whether a specific course is connected to the template

Open A Linked Course

Select a linked course card when you want to continue reviewing that course.

If course opening is available for that item, OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before moving you to the Instructor Platform.

Use this flow when you need to:

  • review how the certificate is used inside a course
  • continue course-level updates outside the Admin Platform
  • move from template management into course management

Understand The Redirect Confirmation

Before switching platforms, OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog explaining that you are leaving the Admin Platform and opening the course in the Instructor Platform.

Use this confirmation step to make sure you are opening the right course before continuing.

After you confirm, OpenMirai redirects you to the related course page in the Instructor Platform.

If The Page Is Still Loading

When the template detail page first opens, OpenMirai can show loading placeholders while it retrieves:

  • the certificate template details
  • the linked course list

Wait until the page finishes loading before deciding whether you need to edit, delete, or open a linked course.

If No Linked Courses Are Found

If the Courses tab does not show any results, one of these is usually true:

  • the template is not linked to any courses yet
  • the selected course type is too narrow
  • the search text does not match any linked courses

Try clearing the search or changing the course type filter to see more results.
