Set Up Payout And Payment Methods
Learn how to use the Admin Platform payout and payment methods page to set up PromptPay, connect Stripe, choose payout methods, add your business address, and manage billing access.
This guide explains how to use the Payout & Payment methods page in the Admin Platform.
Use it when you want to:
- set up PromptPay for one-time purchases
- connect or manage Stripe
- choose which payout method receives one-time purchase revenue
- check whether Stripe is active for subscriptions
- add your business address so payment setup can continue
- open the billing dashboard
Open The Payout And Payment Methods Page
To open the page:
- Go to Finance > Payouts & Payments.
This page is where admins configure how the platform receives and routes payout activity.
Understand The Page Structure
The page is divided into three sections:
- PromptPay
- Stripe
- Payout Method
OpenMirai also shows a save bar when you make changes that need to be saved.
Understand Status Badges And Alerts
OpenMirai shows status badges beside payment methods so you can quickly see whether they are:
- connected
- not connected
- pending activation
- still waiting for setup
You may also see alert banners after returning from a PromptPay setup flow, such as:
- a success message after subscription checkout is completed
- a cancelled message if the checkout was not completed
- a reminder that PromptPay still needs proxy details before it can be fully used
Add Your Business Address First
Before PromptPay can be fully configured, your organization needs a complete business address.
If the address is missing, OpenMirai shows a warning banner and a button to add it.
Use this when:
- you are setting up payment methods for the first time
- PromptPay setup is blocked
- you need the billing address that will appear on receipts
Use The Business Address Dialog
When you select the address action, OpenMirai opens a business address dialog.
The dialog includes fields for:
- address
- subdistrict
- district
- province
- postal code
Use Finish to save the address.
Use Cancel to close the dialog without saving.
All address fields are required before the setup can continue.
Set Up PromptPay
The PromptPay section is used for receiving one-time payments through PromptPay.
This section can show:
- a status badge
- an Enable PromptPay or Resume setup button
- usage-fee information
- address warnings
- PromptPay method fields after activation starts
Start Or Resume PromptPay Setup
If PromptPay has not been fully enabled yet, OpenMirai can show:
- Enable PromptPay
- Resume setup
Use these actions to begin or continue PromptPay activation.
OpenMirai opens a confirmation dialog before sending you to the external setup checkout.
This first step is available only when:
- your business address is complete
- you have the required admin permission to start the setup
Understand The PromptPay Subscription Dialog
Before PromptPay becomes available, OpenMirai shows a dialog explaining that a subscription checkout is required.
From that dialog, you can:
- continue to Stripe to start the checkout
- cancel and return to the page
Use this flow when you are ready to activate PromptPay billing for completed transactions.
Enter PromptPay Details
After PromptPay activation is available, the page shows a PromptPay form.
You can set:
- proxy type
- proxy value
Proxy types can include:
- national ID
- phone number
- tax ID
Use these fields to tell OpenMirai which PromptPay identity should receive payments.
Preview Or Confirm The PromptPay QR Code
When PromptPay is being configured for the first time, OpenMirai can open a QR confirmation dialog before saving.
That dialog can show:
- a test QR code preview
- the formatted proxy value
- a small test total
- required confirmation checkboxes
Use this step to verify that the PromptPay details are correct before saving.
If PromptPay is already configured, OpenMirai can show a QR preview action instead of a first-time confirmation flow.
Save PromptPay Changes
After updating PromptPay details, use the save bar to save your changes.
This is important after:
- entering a proxy value
- changing the proxy type
- updating payout method selections later on the same page
Connect Or Manage Stripe
The Stripe section is used for card payments and Stripe-based account management.
It explains that Stripe supports global payments and lets you manage balances and payouts in Stripe.
The action button can show:
- Connect Stripe
- Manage Stripe
Use this button when you want to start Stripe setup or return to your Stripe management flow.
OpenMirai opens Stripe in a new browser tab.
Choose Payout Methods For One-Time Purchases
The Payout Method section lets you choose which connected method should receive payouts from one-time purchases.
Available methods can include:
- PromptPay
- Stripe
Each method shows whether it is currently active or inactive.
Use these options when you want to decide where one-time purchase revenue should go.
Understand Disabled One-Time Payout Options
Some payout options can appear disabled until setup is complete.
For example:
- Stripe cannot be selected until Stripe is configured
- PromptPay cannot be selected until PromptPay is fully configured
If an option is disabled, complete its setup first and then return to this section.
Understand Subscription Payouts
The page also includes a Subscription payout area.
This section shows Stripe as the subscription payment method and presents its status as a read-only setup result.
Use it to confirm whether Stripe is active for subscription payments.
Open The Billing Dashboard
Eligible admins can use the Manage Billing & PAYG Limits button near the bottom of the page.
Use this when you want to:
- manage subscription billing
- review pay-as-you-go settings
- change billing-related limits outside this page
OpenMirai opens the billing dashboard in a new browser tab.
If Payment Setup Is Restricted On Your Plan
On some plans, OpenMirai can show an upgrade prompt before payment features can be used.
If that happens, follow the upgrade link shown on the page to review your billing and usage options.
If You Cannot Complete Setup
If setup is blocked, the most common reasons are:
- the business address is incomplete
- PromptPay activation has not been started or finished
- Stripe has not been connected yet
- your account does not have the required permission for the action
Resolve the missing requirement first, then return to the page and continue.
