Complete Admin Onboarding and First-Time Setup

This guide explains how to complete first-time onboarding in the Admin Platform.

Use it when you want to:

• finish your first Admin sign-in setup
• complete your personal profile
• set your academy language, logo, and favicon
• choose your academy color scheme
• decide between AI generation and manual customization
• finish the AI-assisted academy launch flow if it is available to you

Understand The Admin Onboarding Flow

When you open Admin onboarding for the first time, OpenMirai guides you through a short setup flow.

The full onboarding experience can include:

• Profile setup
• Organization setup
• AI setup

The exact flow depends on your admin role.

Important detail:

• all first-time admins complete the profile step
• super admins continue into organization and AI-related setup

Complete Your Profile Setup

The first onboarding stage is Profile setup.

This step asks for your personal admin profile details.

The form can include:

• first name
• last name
• profile picture
• profile banner

OpenMirai also notes that this information is shared publicly with platform users.

Use this step to make sure your account is recognizable before you begin managing the platform.

Finish The Profile Step

After entering your profile details, select Continue.

For some admin roles, onboarding ends after this point and OpenMirai takes you into the Admin Platform.

For super admins, OpenMirai continues into organization setup.

Understand The Organization Setup Area

If you are guided into Organization setup, OpenMirai shows a three-step setup sequence with a visual step indicator.

The organization setup steps are:

1. organization settings
2. color scheme
3. customization choice

Use the step indicator to understand where you are in the setup process.

Important detail:

• you can return to completed earlier steps by selecting them in the step indicator

Step 1: Configure Organization Settings

The first organization step is used to set the basics of your academy workspace.

This step includes:

• preferred language
• logo upload
• favicon upload

Use this step to define the first visible identity settings for your academy.

Choose The Preferred Language

Use Preferred Language to choose the main language for your academy.

The onboarding flow supports:

• English
• Thai

Choose the language that best matches how your academy should be presented at launch.

Upload Your Logo

Use the Logo field to upload your academy logo.

This becomes part of your academy branding and helps your site feel more recognizable from the start.

Upload Your Favicon

Use the Favicon field to upload the icon shown in browser tabs.

This is useful when you want your academy site to look polished and consistent in browser navigation.

Step 2: Choose Your Color Scheme

The second organization step is used to set your academy colors.

This step includes:

• a preset color selector
• manual color controls
• a live example preview

Use this step when you want the academy to reflect your organization branding from the beginning.

Choose A Preset Color Scheme

Use the color preset selector if you want a faster setup.

This is helpful when:

• you do not have exact brand color codes yet
• you want a ready-made color combination
• you want to compare several visual directions quickly

Adjust Colors Manually

If you want more control, use the individual color fields to set:

• primary
• secondary
• primary foreground
• secondary foreground

Use this when your academy already has specific brand colors that you want to match more closely.

Review The Color Preview

OpenMirai shows example buttons while you choose colors.

Use this preview to check whether the selected colors feel clear and readable before continuing.

Go Back If You Need To Recheck Earlier Steps

At the bottom of the organization cards, OpenMirai shows Back and Continue actions.

Use Back when you need to revisit the previous step before moving forward.

Step 3: Choose Your Customization Option

The third organization step asks how you want to continue building your academy website.

OpenMirai shows two options:

• AI generation
• Full customization

The AI option is marked as the recommended choice.

Choose AI Generation

Use AI generation when you want OpenMirai to help create your academy website based on a description you provide.

This option is useful when:

• you want a faster starting point
• you want help shaping the first public version of the academy site
• you prefer to review generated ideas instead of starting from a blank setup

Choose Full Customization

Use Full customization when you want to skip the AI setup step and continue with manual site building later.

Choose this option when:

• you already know how you want the academy site to look
• you want to build from a blank starting point
• you prefer manual control from the beginning

Finish Organization Setup

After choosing your customization option, select Continue.

What happens next depends on your choice:

• if you chose Full customization, OpenMirai finishes onboarding and takes you into the Admin Platform
• if you chose AI generation, OpenMirai continues to the AI setup stage

Understand The AI Setup Stage

The AI setup stage helps you describe your academy so OpenMirai can generate a personalized page direction for you.

This stage includes:

• a message box
• style tags
• a send button
• a loading progress view
• a preview screen

Use this stage when you want a guided starting point for your academy’s public presence.

Describe Your Academy

In the AI setup screen, enter a message describing your academy.

This is the main prompt for the AI-generated result.

The prompt can include details such as:

• what your academy teaches
• who your learners are
• what makes your organization unique

OpenMirai encourages you to be specific so the result can feel more tailored.

Choose Style Tags

Below the prompt area, OpenMirai shows style tags such as:

• Modern
• Minimal
• Professional
• Playful
• Elegant
• Bold
• Clean
• Creative

Use these tags to tell OpenMirai what visual direction you prefer.

You can select multiple style tags if more than one matches your academy.

Start AI Generation

After entering your description, select Send.

OpenMirai then starts generating your academy page concept.

Understand The AI Loading View

While generation is running, OpenMirai shows:

• a progress bar
• a changing progress message
• your original message

Use this screen to track progress while the academy page is being prepared.

If AI Generation Was Already In Progress

If you reopen onboarding while an AI job is already running, OpenMirai can resume the same generation flow instead of making you start again.

This is helpful if the page was closed before the AI step finished.

Review The AI Preview

When generation finishes successfully, OpenMirai shows a preview of your academy page.

Use this preview to review the direction before moving into the main Admin workspace.

Continue To The Admin Overview

After reviewing the preview, select Continue.

OpenMirai then completes onboarding and takes you to the Admin overview.

If You See A Loading Screen First

When onboarding opens, OpenMirai can briefly show a loading state while it prepares the next step or checks for an active AI job.

Wait for the loading screen to finish before continuing.
