Manage Courses In The Admin Platform

Learn how to use the Admin Platform course list to search courses, filter the catalog, use selected mode for bulk actions, open course actions, and switch to the Instructor Platform when deeper editing is needed.

This guide explains how to use the All Courses page in the Admin Platform.

Use it when you want to:

  • search the course catalog
  • filter the course list
  • review course information at a glance
  • hide, unhide, publish, draft, or delete courses
  • copy a course link for an unlisted course
  • switch to the Instructor Platform to create or edit a course

Open The Course List

To open the main course list:

  1. Go to Management > Courses.

This page gives admins a catalog-level view of available courses.

Understand The Course List Page

At the top of the page, OpenMirai shows:

  • the All Courses title
  • the number of matching results
  • a Selected mode toggle
  • a course type selector
  • a search box
  • a Create button
  • a filter panel

Below that, OpenMirai shows a list of course cards.

Use this page when you want to review or manage many courses from one place.

Search Courses

Use the search box to find a course by name.

This is helpful when:

  • your catalog contains many courses
  • you only remember part of the course name
  • you want to open one course quickly

Filter The Course List

Use the filter panel to narrow the course list.

The available filter options can include course-related criteria such as status or category, depending on what is available in your organization.

Use filters when you want to focus on a smaller group of courses instead of scanning the full catalog.

Use The Course Type Selector

The course type selector helps you narrow the course list by course type.

Use it when you want to focus on one kind of course before searching or applying more filters.

Understand The Course Cards

Each course card can show details such as:

  • cover image
  • course title
  • short description
  • instructor name
  • rating
  • categories
  • price
  • duration
  • learner count
  • level
  • last updated time

Cards can also show course status, such as hidden or draft.

Use the card layout when you want a quick snapshot of each course before taking action.

Open A Course

Selecting a course card opens that course through the Instructor Platform flow.

When you do this, OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog explaining that you will be redirected to the Instructor Platform to manage that course.

Use this when you want deeper course editing than the Admin course list provides.

Create A New Course

Use the Create button when you want to add a new course.

On the current Admin Platform flow, OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog and then redirects you to the Instructor Platform course creation flow.

Use The Course Action Menu

Each course card includes an action menu.

Available actions can include:

  • Hide or Unhide
  • Edit
  • Copy course link for unlisted courses
  • Delete

Use these actions when you want to manage one course at a time without turning on selected mode.

Hide Or Unhide A Course

Use Hide when you want to remove a course from normal learner visibility without deleting it.

If a course is already hidden, the menu shows Unhide instead.

OpenMirai asks for confirmation before applying the change.

Edit A Course

Use Edit when you want to make detailed course changes.

On the current Admin Platform flow, Edit redirects you to the Instructor Platform after a confirmation step.

The Copy course link action is available for unlisted courses.

Use it when you want to share direct access to a course that is not meant to appear through normal browsing.

After you select the action, OpenMirai attempts to copy the learner-facing course link to your clipboard.

Delete A Course

Use Delete only when the course should be permanently removed.

OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before deletion.

The dialog warns that deleting a course permanently removes learner access to that course.

Turn On Selected Mode

Use the Selected toggle when you want to work with multiple courses at once.

In selected mode, you can:

  • choose courses with checkboxes
  • open the bulk action menu
  • run one action for several selected courses

This is useful when you need to update a group of courses instead of handling them one by one.

Use Bulk Course Actions

When courses are selected, OpenMirai can show bulk actions such as:

  • Hide
  • Publish
  • Set to draft
  • Delete

OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before applying these actions.

Use bulk actions carefully, especially for publish, draft, and delete actions that affect many courses at once.

When A Course Cannot Be Selected

Some courses may not be available for selection in bulk mode.

For example, hidden courses can appear with selection disabled in the current course list.

If that happens, use the individual course action menu instead of bulk actions.

If No Courses Are Found

If the current view does not match any courses, OpenMirai can show an empty state.

This can happen when:

  • no courses have been created yet
  • your search does not match any course names
  • your filters are too narrow

Try clearing or changing the search and filters to broaden the list.
