Reuse Shared Partial Sections In The Web Editor

This guide explains how to use the Partials tab inside the Admin Web Editor.

Use it when you want to:

• reuse predefined shared sections
• insert a shared partial into the current page
• work faster with prepared content instead of rebuilding the same section manually

Before You Start

Open the Web Editor from System > Platform Customization.

Then open the Add Block dialog from the place where you want the partial to appear.

After that, switch to the Partials tab.

What The Partials Tab Does

The Partials tab lets you reuse predefined shared partial sections.

This is useful when your platform already has prepared shared content that should be inserted into pages again without rebuilding the section from the beginning.

What You See In The Partials Tab

The Partials tab can include:

• a grid of partial block cards
• a Refresh button when the partial list is empty or fails to load

These controls help you browse available shared sections and recover if the list is not ready.

Browse Available Partial Sections

When partials are available, OpenMirai shows them as block cards in a grid.

Review the available cards and choose the one that matches the section you want to add.

Insert A Partial Into The Page

To add a shared partial, select one of the partial cards.

OpenMirai then inserts that partial into the page at the position you selected before opening the Add Block dialog.

After insertion, the partial becomes part of the current page structure.

What Happens While Partials Are Loading

Before the list is ready, OpenMirai can show loading text in the Partials tab.

This is normal while the platform is preparing the available shared sections.

Wait for the list to finish loading before choosing a partial.

What Happens If The List Is Empty Or Fails

If the partial list is empty or fails to load, OpenMirai can show an empty or error state with a Refresh action.

This means the tab does not currently have usable partial cards to show.

Use Refresh To Try Again

Choose Refresh when the partial list did not load correctly or no items are shown.

This tells OpenMirai to try loading the partial list again.

If the list becomes available, the normal partial grid appears.

When To Use The Partials Tab

The Partials tab is most useful:

• when you want to reuse shared sections that are already prepared
• when you need a faster starting point for repeated page sections
• when the same partial content should appear across multiple pages

What To Do Next

• insert the partial and review it on the page
• adjust the inserted section if the current page needs small changes
• preview the page after adding important shared sections
• save the page once the layout looks correct
